Smt. Radhikabai Meghe Memorial College of Nursing was established in 2002 with annual intake of 30 for Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course. Currently the intake is increased to 100 every year. In the year 2005 Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing was started to provide the diploma nurses an opportunity to upgrade their education status. This was the first college to start Post Graduate Course in Nursing under the ambit of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik in 2007. Located in the picturesque surroundings of Sawangi (Meghe), the college strives to follow the footprints of care and devotion of great social leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Acharya Vinoba Bhave. With the expediency of multispecialty and super-specialty services rendered by parent hospital Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital, the college aspires to be the centre of excellence for training in nursing education. Currently the courses offered include Basic B.Sc (Nursing), Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing), M.Sc (Nursing) and Ph.D. in all specialties and Fellowship Courses in Geriatric Nursing, Evidence Based Nursing, Peri-operative Care, Neonatology Nursing and Oncology Nursing.
