Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences Deemed to be University is a Category I University graded by the University Grants Commission on recommendation of the Ministry of HRD Government of India. In its endeavor to keep pace with the advent of the latest technology in health sciences education domain, the Deemed to be University is seeking proposals for a Virtual Skill Laboratory to provide students, faculty and the staff with “real-world” clinical management skills in an online environment.

The Expression Of Interest (EOI) document contains statements derived from the information that is believed to be true and reliable at the date obtained but does not purport to provide all of the information that may be necessary or desirable to enable an intending contracting party to determine whether or not to enter into a contract or arrangement with DMIMS DU in relation to the provision of services. Neither DMIMS DU nor any of its trustees, officers, employees, agents, representative, contractors, or advisers gives any representation or warranty (whether oral or written), express or implied as to the accuracy, updating or completeness of any writings, information or statement given or made in this EOI document.

All costs and expenses incurred by Recipients/Respondents in any way associated with the development, preparation and submission of responses, including but not limited to attendance at meetings, discussions, demonstrations, etc. and providing any additional information required by DMIMS DU, will be borne entirely and exclusively by the Recipient/Respondent.

No binding legal relationship will exist between any of the Recipients/Respondents and DMIMS DU until execution of a contractual agreement.

The Recipient must conduct its own investigation and analysis regarding any information contained in the EOI document and the meaning and impact of that information.

Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed to be University) was granted the status of Deemed to be University by University Grants Commission, on 24th May, 2005 under section 3 of UGC act 1956. The Deemed University is located in a 125 acre campus in Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha about 80 kms from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, which is the geographic centre of India. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city amidst serene surroundings in a self-sustaining complex with an excellent academic ambience. It is very well connected by road, rail and air (via Nagpur) to all the major cities in the country and abroad.

It is accredited with NAAC for three consecutive cycles with the highest grade, latest being A+ in the year 2017. It is also bracketed as Category I University by the Government of India. It runs 191 programmes having a total intake of 888 students per annum with the total student strength of 3500 students. All programmes are accredited with respective apical councils like MCI/DCI /INC /CCIM etc

Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed to be University) desires to develop a state of the art Virtual Lab and train its students, faculty and staff for “real-world” clinical management skills in an online environment.

Expression Of Interests are therefore invited from the reputed firms/companies/agencies/laboratories/institutions, which have experience of execution of the similar types of activities.

1. To setup the state of the art Virtual Lab
2. To procure Manikins/Simulators and other products required for setting up the Virtual Lab
3. To analyze the training needs of the students, faculty and staff of all the constituent colleges of DMIMSDU
4. Trainings for application of computer simulators in medical education
5. To start various courses based on simulation and manikins
6. To procure Virtual Reality Simulation for clinical training, especially to practice and facilitate learning of surgical, anesthetic, endoscopic, orthopedic, laparoscopic and any other procedures.

1. The participating agency should have legal entity with valid pan and GST no.
2. The participating agency should have positive Net Worth.
3. The participating agency should have Average Annual Turnover of Rs. 8.00 Crore for last three years.
4. The participating agency should have Prior experience of similar work.
5. The participating agency should submit a self-declaration that if selected the agency should invest more than Rs. 7.00 Crore towards the project.
6. If the participating agency is registered with MSME, the eligibility criteria mentioned at B, C & D shall be relaxed.
7. The participating agency should not have been black listed by any State Government, Central Government or any other Public Sector undertaking or a Corporation as on the date of EOI. An undertaking to this effect should be submitted by the agency on its letterhead

1. This is not a Express of Interest (EOI) and commercial bids SHOULD NOT be submitted with EOI.
2. DMIMSDU reserves the right to examine/verify the supportive documents/reports furnished by the bidders.
3. DMIMS would constitute an evaluation committee having authorized representatives of DMIMSDU that will evaluate the responses in detail in order to determine whether they are substantially responsive to the requirements set forth in the EOI. The decision taken by the committee in this regard shall be final and binding on all the participating agencies of EOI.
4. DMIMSDU reserves the rights to call only short listed agencies for a presentation/discussion of their proposal on the date, time as decided by DMIMSDU. The decision taken by the DMIMSDU in this regard shall be final and binding on all the participants of EOI
5. If any information or document provided in the response to this EOI is found to be misleading subsequently, the agency will be disqualified.
6. ALL the rights on the resource material generated will be of DMIMS University.
7. DMIMSDU may reject any or all the responses received / cancel the entire process at any stage without assigning any reason whatsoever.
8. Notwithstanding anything contained herein above, in case of any dispute, claim and legal action arising out of this EOI, the parties shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra State, India only.

Agencies qualifying as per the criteria mentioned above and who are interested in providing the services detailed above may submit their response to this EOI as per formats given in annexure along with relevant documentary evidence.

Commercial bid may be submitted after the request latter issued by DMIMS DU.

Any response not containing information for all the parts of Annexure may be rejected.
